Das Album: PLANET BLUE - PIECES FROM PLACES

Nach erfolgter Veröffentlichung aller sechzehn Einzeltitel werden diese zusammen das Album PLANET BLUE - PIECES FROM PLACES bilden (Herbst 2026). Auf ihm werden all jene Kompositionen vereint sein, die von Regionen inspiriert sind, die Peter, entweder physisch oder mental, über einen Zeitraum von mehr als 40 Jahren bereist hat. Oft diente eine vor Ort aufgenommene Feldaufnahme als Ausgangspunkt, um die sich die Komposition entwickelte (z. B. Nordostindien, Jemen, Papua-Neuguinea), oder Klänge und Ideen wurden durch die Region selbst ausgelöst. Auf diesem Album, auf dem er, abgesehen von einem Titel, alle Stücke selbst komponiert sowie alle arrangiert und produziert hat, ist er als Schlagzeuger, Perkussionist, Keyboarder und Gitarrist zu hören.

Peter setzt seine weltmusikalisch inspirierten Ambitionen in einer breit angelegten Anzahl von Veröffentlichungen mit Gitarrist und Komponist Tilmann Höhn fort.

Tara Louise
In Los Angeles ansässige Toplinerin, Sängerin und Songwriterin mit 145 Millionen Streams auf verschiedenen Plattformen sowie mehreren Nummer-1-Veröffentlichungen auf Beatport und iTunes.

Lumtimei Syiemlieh
Sängerin aus dem Volk der Khasi im nordostindischen Bundesstaat Meghalaya. Sie ist eine „Khadduh“, eine jüngste Tochter, die in der matrilinearen Khasi-Gesellschaft sowohl die weltliche Erbin als auch die himmlische Clanmutter repräsentiert. Sie singt vom Herd als Zentrum ihrer Großfamilie und ihrer Stellung als die höchste Autorität des Klans in ihrer Generation.

Joel Kibble
Hauptmitglied der mit 10 Grammy Awards ausgezeichneten Vokalgruppe Take 6, die neben ihren eigenen Alben mit Musikgrößen wie Quincy Jones, Stevie Wonder, Marcus Miller, Ray Charles, Al Jarreau, Don Henley, James Taylor, Whitney Houston, Michael McDonald und Jacob Collier zusammengearbeitet hat, um nur einige zu nennen, und vor vier amtierenden US-Präsidenten aufgetreten ist.

Chris Cron
Ehemaliger Warner-Brothers-Recording artist und Sänger der kalifornischen Alternative-Rock-Band Mêlée, deren Song „Built to Last“ in Japan und Indonesien Platz 1, in Deutschland, den Niederlanden und Österreich Platz 2 sowie weitere Top-Ten-Platzierungen in anderen Teilen Europas erreichte und 2007/2008 63 Wochen lang in den Charts blieb. Derzeit ist er Tourmitglied der Beach Boys, deren berühmten Gesangsstil Chris mit großem Erfolg (Millionen von Followern auf YouTube) fortsetzt.

Kyle Castellani
Ehemaliger Frontmann der kalifornischen Post-Grunge-Alternative-Rock-Band und Atlantic-Records-Recording artist Nural, Singer-Songwriter und Session-Sänger aus Los Angeles.

David Steele
Kanadischer Sänger aus Vancouver, British Columbia, der mit Bette Midler, Cher, David Lee Roth, Loverboy, Mötley Crue, David Foster, Robbie Buchanan und vielen anderen zusammengearbeitet hat.

Jerry Lopez
Amerikanischer Sänger, Gitarrist, Komponist und Produzent aus Santa Fe, New Mexico. Leiter der in Las Vegas ansässigen Band Santa Fe and the Fat City Horns. Arbeitete mit Bill Champlin, Tom Scott, Steve Gadd, Luis Miguel, Scott Sheriff, Ole Børud und vielen anderen zusammen.

Jagdish Mistry
In Mumbai (Indien) geborener Geiger, der bei Yehudi Menuhin studierte und als sein Meisterschüler mit ihm auftrat. Recording artist bei Decca Argo, Chandos, Unicorn und der BBC. Solist und Gastkonzertmeister bei renommierten Sinfonie- und Kammerorchestern weltweit. Seit 1994 Mitglied des berühmten und einzigartigen Ensemble Modern, das Werke moderner klassischer Komponisten (z. B. auch das letzte Werk des verstorbenen Frank Zappa, „The Yellow Shark“) entwickelt, uraufführt und präsentiert sowie diese weltweit aufführt.

Tilmann Höhn
Deutscher Gitarrist, Komponist, Produzent und Soundspezialist par excellence. Recording artist mit Hotel Bossa Nova für Enja Records und Auftritte mit der Frankfurt City Blues Band, Matthias Frey, Yvonne Mwale, Alannah Myles sowie solo und in verschiedenen Projektkonstellationen.

Dane Farnsworth
In Nashville ansässiger Keyboarder, dessen Tournee- und Aufnahmekarriere unter anderem Keb Mo', John Mayer, Steve Winwood, Philip Bailey (Earth, Wind & Fire) und Robben Ford umfasst.

Ulf Kleiner
Deutscher Pianist, Komponist und Produzent, der unter anderem mit Fola Dada, DePhazz, Caro Trischler, Joo Kraus, Daniel Stelter, Jeff Cascaro, der HR Bigband, Charlie Mariano und Chaka Khan zusammenarbeitet.

Wolfgang Wittemann
Deutscher Saxophonist und Komponist, bekannt für seine Arbeit mit dem deutsch-arabischen Ensemble Cairo Steps, das mit dem renommierten Deutschen Jazzpreis in Gold ausgezeichnet wurde.

Zusammenarbeit mit Christ Stapleton, Leslie Jordan, The Temptations, The Drifters, Little Big Town, Harry Connick Jr., Marc Broussard, Sister Sledge und vielen weiteren Größen.

The Album: PLANET BLUE - PIECES FROM PLACES

Once all sixteen individual tracks have been released, they will together form the album PLANET BLUE - PIECES FROM PLACES (Fall 2026). It will assemble all those compositions inspired by regions that Peter has traveled to, either physically or mentally, over a period of more than 40 years. Often, a field recording made on-site served as the starting point around which the composition developed (e.g., Northeast India, Yemen, Papua New Guinea), or sounds and ideas were triggered by the region itself. On this album, on which he composed all the tracks himself—with the exception of one title—and arranged and produced them all, he can be heard as a drummer, percussionist, keyboardist, and guitarist.

Peter continues his world-inspired musical ambitions with guitarist and composer Tilmann Höhn in a wide array of music releases.

Lumtimei Syiemlieh
Singer from the Khasi people in the Northeast-Indian state of Meghalaya. She is a ‘khadduh‘, a youngest daughter, that, in the matrilineal Khasi society, represents both the worldly heir and the celestial clan mother. She sings about the hearth as the center of her extended family representing herself as the clan’s highest authority in her generation.

Joel Kibble
Principal member of the 10-time Grammy Award-winning vocal group Take 6 that, next to their own albums, has worked with musical greats such as Quincy Jones, Stevie Wonder, Marcus Miller, Ray Charles, Al Jarreau, Don Henley, James Taylor, Whitney Houston, Michael McDonald, and Jacob Collier, to name a few, and performed for four sitting U.S. Presidents.

Chris Cron
Former Warner Brothers recording artist and singer of the Californian Alternative Rock band Mêlée whose song ‘Built to Last’ went to no. 1 in Japan and Indonesia, no. 2 in Germany, the Netherlands, and Austria, and other top ten positions in other parts of Europe, remaining in the charts in 2007/2008 for 63 weeks. At present Chris is a touring member of the Beach Boys whose famous singing style he continues with great success (millions of followers on YouTube).

Jagdish Mistry
Mumbai (India)-born violinist who studied with Yehudi Menuhin and performed with him as his master student. Recording artist with Decca Argo, Chandos, Unicorn, and the BBC. Soloist and guest concertmaster for renowned symphony and chamber orchestras worldwide. Since 1994 member of the famous and unique Ensemble Modern, developing, premiering and presenting works of modern classical composers (e.g. the late Frank Zappa’s last work “The Yellow Shark“) as well as performing them around the world.

Tilmann Höhn
German guitarist, composer, producer, and sound specialist par excellence. Recording artist with Hotel Bossa Nova for Enja Records, and performing with the Frankfurt City Blues Band, Matthias Frey, Yvonne Mwale, Alannah Myles, as well as solo and in various project settings.
